I Just bought a suzuki acces 125 yesterday (26/7/2012)from Quadros Motors Margao Goa, and while delivery I felt totally cheated, noticed something very strange , The company charged me Rs 859 extra on the Road Tax & Rs 589 extra on insurance, When i spoke to the ownner of the showroom alll he told me was ” You should have know wat your paying for at the time of booking not now while delivering”
I told him that when i booked the Bike i had asked the accountant at Suzuki but she had told me my
Ex-Showroom cost is Rs.47816
Road Tax Rs.4276
Insurance Rs.1969
Extra for RTO registration Rs.550
I asked told the accountant that If i go myself to the RTO i can get it registered Free of cost & pay only the RoadTax amount , to this she said “Sorry sir but we cannot deduct the 550″ hence i told her to go ahead and register the bike themselves.
On delivery of the bike i noticed that the Road tax paid to the RTO was only Rs.3347. the insurance paid was only Rs.1380
I have spoken to the ownner & his accountant that this is not the way you cheat your customers, to this the ownner tells me that ” You are the first customer with a problem” After that I went to the Local Police station to tell them about this incident but they asked me to get in touch with consumers forum
I would like to take this matter up in consumers forum so that dealers like Quadros Motors tell all their customers what they are paying for.
