Not providing Relieving Letter/Experience Letter

Location/place: Mumbai, India

Name of company/service: Teradata India Pvt. Ltd.

I have joined the firm on August 15, 2011 and have been supporting the project from day one. I was the first resource from Informatica side and built the whole Team worked on weekends, holidays and extended my working hours. Besides, resource crunch, I managed to provide full Support and provide the best service to the customer.

However, during notice period, there were some misses from my side as my mother was undergoing Cancer treatment and even I was sick. Even though, I completed all my pending tasks promptly.

I agree that there were some misses from my end which led to some escalation. However, I was not solely resposible all those misses. The following are the misses stated:

1. Taking Leave in Notice Period as my Mother was sinking and I need to urgently go to my Native place.
2. Working from Home as my health was not good and I was undergoing treatment and suffering from severe Diarrohea. I got sick even in Company once and continued my work as I was not eligible to take Leave.
3. Missing implementing one RFC which was because my Internet connection got disconnected.

I apologize for all these mistakes. However, I would appreciate if Teradata as a firm, consider my efforts in building the Team and at least provide me with the Relieving and Experience Letter.

I have persuaded Company, India HR Head in whichever way I can. Even my future Employer, after listening to all the truth, tried to contact them and ask for Mail Confirmation that I have been relieved from Teradata so that I can start my employment with next firm. But, still no luck.

Also, all above mistakes have happened in other Teams also and it is being managed. Just because, I have resigned the Firm this is considered as business impact.

I would request you to intervene in this issue and put your opinion on the same.

Please revert back at the earliest as this is impacting my joining with next firm and my career is at stake.

Thank You.

Regards,
Manish
