I had booked for a Ubislate (Akash Tablet) during FEB 2012, which was proudly declared by Govt. of India as the cheapest in this series for the support of the am-admi, especially students. Booking id- PMFE8931FD05
I got a mail back from the company on 01/03/2012 offering a prioritized delivery in APRIL 2012, if I send a Cheque of Rs. 2999, cheque no -063685 Federal Bank , Nanthancode , trivandrum which will also cover the shipping charge.so I have sent a cheque to Ms. Datawind Innovations Pvt. Ltd. 8148, Jubilee Complex, Sultanwind Road, Amritsar 143001,
On 02/04/2012 I received an e-mail confirmation acknowledging the receipt of the Cheque from Ms. Datawind.
After this I had several phone calls to their toll free no. 1800 180 2180 and e-,ail communications which had no responses from Ms. Datawind. On 10/07/2012 they sent an e-mail stating that the delivery of Ubislate has started and I will receive the device by the end of June.
I have not received the device in June and they are still just extending the months. On 10/10/2012 I had written them a mail on warning them for legal steps. Then they offered an immediate delivery; but nothing happened.
So Please take action against this company
