I have airtel connection for past 1.5yrs. i was working in delhi and now have shifted to Bangalore. i requested Airtel Customer Care to Change my Number from Delhi Circle to Karnataka circle. they said that 1st pay you past due bill. i paid that called them again. they then said that we will activate a plan on your number where incoming roaming will be free for a month and for outgoing calls on roaming other call rates will apply and in the mean time they will provide me with a new number where the last 5 digits will be same as my current number and they will deliver the same at my residence. after 10 days i called they said that incoming roaming was free but they cant provide me with new number.if i want a new post paid number to go to airtel shop and get a new number. this means i have been using my phone on roaming will pay extra.this is there way to make customers suffer and now they are saying you pay this bill also which is not my fault.plus today 26.06.2012 i got a call from airtel saying if i want 1 or 2 numbers and when i said what happed to my request she said there is no such request in the system and if i want a number or not.please this is a request to stop these telecom companies to mislead customers and provide better services rather than just asking for money
