On 8th July 2013 I wrote this to [email protected]:
“I am from Jorhat, Assam. I bought a 3G connection for 12 GB paying Rupees 1,555. My number is 9678288320. In fact I’ve used airtel 3G with this same number and in the same place without any major problem. On a couple of occasions, I could not get 3G connection but it was resolved to my satisfaction. However, this time I have not been getting 3G speed in my internet connection for 6 days. I thought it might be because the sim wasn’t working well and I got a new sim, but the problem is persisting. I got this email from online discussion and felt I should write to you. The continued inability to get 3G speed is frustrating me. Please help resolve the problem at the earliest.

Till today, 14 July 2013, nothing has been done. The 3G plan I bought is valid for 30 days only and now almost half of the validity period is over. Will Airtel repay me the amount I have paid plus an additional commensurate amount for the trouble I have encountered through my purchase of a service that Airtel sold but could not provide?
