We had ordered for home delivery of 2 veg biryanis from Hyderabadi Biryani house and found a chicken piece in one of the veg biryani. It is a disgrace that being in India, where a majority of the population is Vegetarian, restaurants are still unable to maintain the difference, fully aware that there are religious sentiments attached to this. How can one expect a non-veg piece in Veg Biryani, where you can clearly see other vegetables along with the Rice. Being Indians, if one cannot understand sentiments of vegetarians, how can one expect to survive in other parts of the world? And the response you get is – “Madame you can bring it back – we will replace the biryani for you with Veg one”. It is very shameful!! This is a complaint against Hyderabadi Biryani House, and every other restaurant which has both veg and non-veg – to maintain certain standards and respect the culture for which Indians are famous for – especially – when they have their restaurant in India. Vegetarians should not need to quit their social life, where other people in the group are non-vegetarians – by having to go to a Veg place.
