Non-replacement of defective spectacles by Lenskart even during warranty period.

ear Sir/Madam,

I had ordered eye glasses with order No. 1200927478 dated 24/11/2013 from Lenskart.com. However even one year had not elapsed and the lenses have developed innumerable scratches making the specs unusable. Also the ear bar screws have developed rust. The matter was reported to the company on 15/11/2014 and ever since they have been avoiding to replace the spectacles. Their last communication states that the product has exceeded one year warranty and therefore nothing can be done. This is absurd and false given below the following facts:
Date of order: 24/11/2013
Date of reporting the defects: 15/11/2014.
Even if the date of order is taken to be as the date of delivery the period of one year warranty as stated by the company has not lapsed as 10 good days still remained. It is requested that the matter be taken up with the company to do the needful replacement at the earliest.
