I had applied for a Flat with M/s Ansal Properties Infrastructure Ltd. New Delhi In August 2005 for their Project at ‘Sunshine County’ Kundli (Haryana) way back in 2005. Having paid the entire cost of the flat (last payment made on 26/8/2010) , I am being denied the possession of my Flat No 020701 on one pretext or the other by the privileged Builder M/s Ansal API. At the time of launch of the scheme these houses were conceived to be of ‘ 1000 sq.ft ‘ size (perhaps to enable categorization as ‘Affordable’ Houses’) but were subsequently changed to 1475 sq.ft. To our utter surprise just prior to the release of ‘Possession’ of the flat in question the area was again increased to ‘1670 sq.ft’ with no justification for such increase provided till date in spite of several emails/letters (please see the Attachment). I am now being threatened of ‘cancellation’ of my Flat arbitrarily, battering my long-cherished hopes of owning a House. The Builders seem not to care for the deep hurt caused to the common man who has to either helplessly swallow the agony or look for Godly help from some genuine/understanding quarters. All the faults of the Builders –be it the delay in construction or the arbitrary repeated increase in prices seem pardonable in their eyes jaundiced with the lust of Authority and Unquenched Greed for Money—this definitely needs to be checked and poor masses saved from the acute harassment at the hands of the mightier lobby of Builders. I am confident that now ‘our own Government’ will look into such grievances and take the corrective measures and rescue us.
