I bought a Scooty Streak Vehicle Number TN 10 – AB 3616, Loan Number TN30007WO2363 in the year 2011 when I used to reside at Vadapalani. I had clearly indicated that I was moving in a week’s time and all the paper work need to be delivered to Tambaram address
Post which I had followed up several times with TVS executives at the showroom regarding the paperwork and they had stated that it has been sent to the old Vadapalani address and returned, and is currently at our main branch and will be soon despatched to the Tambaram address.
My managerial position at TCS demands rotational shifts and travelling often because of which I could contact tvs executives only over phone who had promised that they have got the papers and I can collect it at any point of time from the showroom.
I walked into vadapalani showroom and was shocked to hear that the RC documents were delivered on 10.05.12 (tracking number : ET 220068245) at Vadapalani address and someone has collected it on my behalf . When I stated that I did not reside at that address for more than 2 years and narrated my story, one of the sales executive tried helping me but it did not lead anywhere. With the tracking number provided I am unable to trace any details in Speedpost site since details older than 3 months will not be stored and Post office guys refused to help advising to contact TVS.Most humiliating fact was I went back to the old address in Vadapalni hoping to get the paper work and found there had been 3 residents change post me vacating the place.
In spite of my last week visit these TVS guys have again tried to re- deliver the RC book to Tambaram and claims that it has been delivered.
Helpdesk associates keeps parroting that its been received from my end and clearly / cleverly trys to cover up the goofup created by TVS . I am surprised at the way TVS guys handle such critical documents and disappointed in the merry go round they are still giving me.
