Non-delivery of Ubislate 7Ci by DATAWIND

Location/place: Dashadrone, Opposite: Mandirbagan, Kolkata – 700136.

Name of company/service: DATAWIND

I pre-ordered for Ubislate7+ on 22.01.2012. DATAWIND sent my booking ID as PMEF74B on the same day. DATAWIND suggested for advance payment for getting the device within March, 2012. I made a payment of ₹2,999 through a cheque on 02.02.2012. Several months elapsed. But I got nothing despite some reminders from me. DATAWIND informed me about the upgraded offer of new model Ubislate7Ci (for only ₹ 500 extra) on 09.11.2012. I accepted the same. DATAWIND sent a further booking ID to me as PMD2418 on 10.11.2012. I use to check my order status regularly by visiting the site as proposed by DATAWIND. Till date I have got no intimation of getting the device. In the meantime, I got another offer for Ubislate7C+ (Smartphone tablet with SIM Functionality) from DATAWIND on 15.02.2013. I like the specification. But, what is the problem? My payment reached the DATAWIND account on 25.02.2012. My device is still remaining in dark. Moreover, despite advance payment from my end, DATAWIND is trying not to give me any discount at present.

    Sorry for the inconvenience from our side. We are highly concerned for our new and existing customers.
    Since, we are delivering thousand tablets per day. So, you will get your device very soon. As far as more discount is concerned, Datawind is trying to give best offer to their pre-booking users.

    If you still have any confusion or doubt then post here. From now, I’ll look into this matter personally.
