Non activation of sim card

Location/place: Delhi

Name of company/service: Vodafone

I purchased a postpaid vodafone connection on the 13th. I was told that the sim would be active in 2-3 days. after 10 days the sim is not yet activated and the one who called me for the connection is not responding to my calls. When I contacted the customer care I was told to find a vodafone store and register my complain there. When they had to sell they came at my doorstep and now they are asking me to take the pains.
