Today I am here to complain regarding the bizarre service given by Ola cab service in Delhi. I had booked a cab on 7th August 2015, through the Ola Mobile application, for dropping at domestic airport, from Pocket F, GTB enclave dated for 8th August 2015, sharp at 7.00 am in the morning. i got a confirmed messages soon after. But I was still not so sure about the confirmation message, so I called up to the OLA service centre, they assured me that the cab has been booked for 8th August 2015, and cab will reach on time. so on the next day, I woke up at 6.00am in the morning just to make sure I am on time, for my flight. 6.30am has passed still no news from the OLA cab service side. so again I called up to the customer care. They assured again, that the booking is confirm and a cab in on way towards me. Immediately I got a message, stating the name of the cab and number of its driver. Without wasting time, I dialled it in hurry. but the driver says, he is not informed, and so cannot come. I got little curios and shocked at the same time. so didn’t waste time calling the OLA customer care again. They again assured me a cab, and forwarded me a number and type of ride. So, with a knee jerk reaction I dialled the no. in my message. To my utter surprise, the driver says he is not free, and so cannot come to pick. I got really furious now with anger; I called the OLA cab service again. Though I was angry I politely asked them that I had booked a cab yesterday, but still now no cabs have turned up. I said I have a flight to catch, and the episode till now has messed with my schedule. The person on the other side again assured me of the cab reaching on time. But with a boiling anger I said I know my rights and I will complain in the consumer court. The person on the other side of the line told me I could do that. so I again asked is the cab being sent? It was quite shocking to hear that cabs couldn’t be booked now as all the cabs are busy.
I have faith in the judicial system of our Country. So, here I am writing a complain. With this I just want an answer, why did the OLA service lie, and made fake arrangements, while I was waiting worried? It did give me lot of stress and anxiety, whether I will reach airport on time or not. The response given by the OLA cab service is not satisfactory, and has harassed me mentally. Therefore, being a citizen of this great country I demand Justice and the OLA cab service company be penalized so that such incidents may not happen to anyone ever in near future.
