I am using idea punjab number 8196072286.
when i left punjab circle the data network stopped working..
i tried calling on their customer care number 09814012347 from my idea punjab number.. and it’s constantly giving me a message that the dialled number does not exist.
in the end i had to borrow another persons mobile (non idea network) to make the call on same customer care number.which costed rupee 1 per minute
the person responding suggested me to make some changes as following (i’m using iphone 5s):-
set mobile network to manual on idea, i did that.
then set mobile data apn as internet, i did that.
then restart the phone, and i followed the instruction.
now the data network is on but it’s sluggish even compared to 2g network.
after that i made another call to customer care to make the complain and the person responding this time said that 3g net of idea in uttar pradesh east is not working as per expectation because of outstanding connection working in parallel…
and they are campaigning for 4g network, even when they don’t even have proper working 3g network.
