Have visited SUPER MEDICALS, perumbakkam chennai near GLobal Hospital to purchase some medicines. Paid the total amnt of 931 there and back home. The medicine was taken for my 2 yrs old kid due to some severe skin allergy.
Once I reached home, was checking medicine one by one to start the dose, have noticed that the medicine CROTORAX-HC was not given which was prescribed for itching for skin allergy. Instead of that the pharmacy people had given Contractubex 20G costs 775 Rs. The leaflet clearly mentioned that it is for managing scars caused by accidental injuries, burns, surgical and gynaecological procedures. I have got confused with the message and contacted the pharmacy which is 4 kms away. The pharmacy people confirmed that it is a mistake and the shop person was saying since the shop people are from outside TN and they dont know much on the medicine. That caused the confusion. Since “Free Home Delivery” was given in the leaflet have asked the person to swap the medicine and provide me the bill amount. The shop contact confirmed they will provide the medicine. Later after 4 hrs contacted the shop again, since the medicine was not given. They told that have to go their and produce the original bill means they will swap the medicine for me.
The reason behind this complaint is.. not sure all will be going through the leaflet and compare the medicine before they actually consume it. Also if this situation is for an illiterate and if it is a life saving medicine.. imagine the situation if the wrong medicine was consumed by the patient.
I would like to request the concerned people to check on this and the eligibility criteria of the shop members in this Medicals.
