Name of company/service: Samsung
I bought my Samsung S3 on 24th June 2012 and exactly 1 year 6 days after, 30th June 2013 morning my phone refuses to switch on. I initially thought it was out of charge but when I tried charging the phone it didn’t charge. Since this was on a Sunday and all the service stations are closed on Sunday I had to wait till the next day. Today I submitted my phone in the morning and called to check on the status and they are saying that my phone’s mother board has to be changed and it will cost 7700rs to fix it.
My question is I paid 39500 for the phone including vat and if I have to spend 7700 again within one year’s time what is the point of me paying such a big amount and investing on the phone.
And the service station people tell me that “ma’am it happens. we can’t do anything”
And the worst part is that I take care of that phone more than my life.
i want to file a complaint against Samsung, because if they are like any other phones, then why do we have pay such a heavy amount for their phones.
Please help me take this forward.
