MTS Fraud Advertising

Please do not buy any MTS products. They are cheating. Recently I bought MTS MBlaze Ultra(40GB UL – Rs.999). They promised me a speed of upto 9.8 Mbps. I know that this speed will not be possible and they promised me a speed of at-least 4.5 Mbps. However, I never got 4.5 Mbps but I was getting 3.5 Mbps during night and upto 2 Mbps during day and that is only for the first week. Next week I faced a drastic drop of 150 kbps. I called MTS customer care and filed a complaint and they promised me for an in home technician. No one showed up till now and I called customer care again. Before that I want to mention one more incident. For the first 10 days I was able to download with good speeds in utorrent. After that I was getting only 15 kbps in utorrent. I called MTS and asked them about this. The response given by them was really shocking. They said after the first 20 GB of data usage MTS will block the ports and they will never allow their customers to download via torrent. They should told this 20 GB limitation while buying the product but they are portraying some fraud advertisements. The response from the customer care executives were too bad and unacceptable. Please friends don’t buy any MTS product and don’t believe their fraud advertisements.

I want the speed to be boost up or I want a refund. And I want the port to be unblocked for utorrent. .

I am working in the IT sector and I used to work from home at times. I believed that attracting advertisement and bought MTS but kicked in my back heavily. I was not able to download torrent files and lost around 100 bucks calling the customer care since it was not toll free. I was totally upset by the customer care agents response and lost my money.

    hi,

    I am using Mts Blaze as well.You are rght MTs is throttling onlytorrent downloads. Download speeds are limited to 16kbps

    i m using 40 gb 999 plan. yes i confirm mts is throttling torrent. i regret taking it.

    Mts is fraud.they the cheating.they are blocking ports and throttling bandwidth.cant download with torrent.shamful act of MTS.not recommending to any 1.

    Even in my case torrent download bandwidth’s has been limited to <20Kbps an even before the 40gb download limit they have reduced my download bandwidth to 150Kbps

    I too can confirm that bit torrent traffic is throttled in MTS.

    i also agree that mts is throttling torrents, i am getting on 15kbps in utorrent

    same thing happens with me..its been 2 months and over 25 complaints, nothing happened. i told them that i do not want 9.2mbps as advertised..just provide me a speed of 2mbps..but they are not able to do so..

    we all know that mbps in india stands for megabitspersecond and their executive are always trying to giving this fool answers..even one lady told me that sir you will not get a good speed because we have a very bad connection in delhi..u sould try our service in other states…should i have to leave my hometown due to mts only..god..

    The speed of mts has gone down as well compared to when started using it.

    I bought 999 40 GB. Same for me. Torrent speed lowered to 10 KB/s after 10 days. and the speed is also NOT very good in Delhi.

    DONT BUY MTS. IT IS FRAUD.

    MTS has been throtling all downloads, not only torrents. Regular downloads are running @ 120kbps average and torrent @ 4kbps. So I went on and installed VPN servers such as hotspot shield to get full. Anyway, the reason they say to throttle torrent is that Government has banned torrent which I have never heard and the customer care people don’t know what they are speaking. They have some common steps such as resetting the dongle for whatever tiny reason even if it is from their side. I took 40GB plan thinking I would get 40GB, but in reality, only 20GB daytime usage and the night time is from 12-8 which is time for downloading.

    MTS is just a waste of connection. I didn’t get BSNL Landkne and hence I was forced into taking MTS as there are no other wired providers and wireless providers are kinda expensive such as 800Rs. for 3GB data while MTS offers 40GB at 1123Rs.

    I regret taking MTS. Facing the same issue THROTTLING! I asked them where is it mentioned about the download limit. They told its an internal communication.

    This amounts to false advertisement/against NET NEUTRLITY and should be sued!

    I just hope more people don’t fall for this TRAP.

    This is not the way of taking away money by providing wrong and in-accurate information . Don’t you think that this is the cheap way of filling your pockets and paying your electrical bills !!!

    Why have you blocked p2p traffic without any intimation, why haven’t you mentioned that p2p traffic is throttled during the time of purchase. This is cheating and completely UN-acceptable

    I’m no more paying the bill for the current month until i exhaust my current data pack after that i will switch over to Airtel.

    i am in haridwar and i agree with you about the torrent speed .
    but i am satisfied with my speed here i get 500kbs on idm after 9 am and it decrease to 200kbps after 4 pm to 1am and then the best part after 3am the speed raise to 800kbps to 1mbps till 9am
