I have bought MTS data card for internet connection # 8925914987.
My data plan was 550 pm for 4 GB data. But during the month of August they sent me a bill of 1736 INR saying that I did some extra usage in the month. However I was never notified about the exceeding of monthly limit at any point of time. Further I also did not have any option to check my data usage myself. I came to know later that MTS expects customers to call there customer-care numbers to know the monthly limit.So basically they do not give any option to their customers to check their limit during the month and also do not notify them when the monthly limit gets exceeded.
I escalated to their customer care but their response was that because it was a postpaid connection, I was liable to pay whatever is the bill generated by MTS.
I was pissed off after multiple follow up with these people that I asked them to disconnect my connection. Finally my internet was disconnected from their side from 14th September onwards. I was NOT able to use internet from MTS after 14th September 2014.
They asked me to pay 2080 INR on 30-Sep. I paid it later however these people kept on increasing the bill amount without giving any service to me. My net was disconnected from 14th Sep onwards. By citing multiple technical reasons they kept on increasing the bill amount. I paid 2060 later but still they say that I have an outstanding of more than 400. They keep on increasing this bill amount each month citing some technical reasons however I am not using any service from MTS.
From my side I have paid the dues which were asked me for payment but these people so shameless that they just want to extract any amount from their customers. I need to take action against MTS here. Please suggest.
