I have applied for passport in tatkaal scheme, but Now I found out that it is highly impossible for an ordinary citizen to get the required signature of an IAS officer. So, I requested them to change passport application to normal from tatkaal. But, they refused my application and replied me to apply through a new application and pay 1500. When I asked what about my 1500 from previous form, they said it was forfeited. I have given this same suggestion to passportindia.gov.in but they don’t reply.
