I, Priya Wadhwa, had booked Mirador banquets in Andheri East, Mumbai for my marriage but due to certain personal reasons had to cancel the bookings. I had paid an advance of 15,000/- on 30th September 2012 (I have a receipt of the same) for which I have been requesting for a adjustment against of any services like room booking, buffet coupons etc as I understand that the money is non refundable. I had told the Banquet Manager (Mr.Krishna Roa) to deduct certain penalty if required.
It’s been a few months that I have been personally, verbally and on mail visiting and following up with Mr.Krishna but he has finally not agreed to adjust my money against any services with Mirador.
From the start I had never asked for a refund because I understand and respect the hotel’s rules but I do not understand that why can’t my money be adjusted against any service? The receipt of payment that I have does not mention anything like non adjustment of services.
I sincerely request you to look into this matter and any kind of help will be useful at this point in time.
