Dear Sir,
I had applied for MNP many times from BSNL to Vodafone,
But it was rejecting stating that :-
“Your PORT out request by the existing service provider is rejected because of “contractual obligations”.
After further enquiry I was told that since I have a special number I cannot port the number.
But as per the regulation of TRAI it is nowhere mentioned that special numbers cannot be ported (my number 94392-44444). And also At the times of issuing the number, BSNL has charged me extra premium of Rs.3000/- for the number, which itself revokes the right of BSNL to retain the number.
Sir I would request you to look into the matter and take this up. As I really don’t want to stay with BSNL any more.
