A sim card was purchased for prepaid service from Airtel company office located in Hyderabad at Narayana guda on 5th January 2018 with the mobile number 7995293840. We are advised to go for a recharge scheme of Rs 559 and the same was activated by the evening of 5th January 2018. It worked for 4 days exactly I. e 10 th January 2018. The next morning to our horror we discovered that the outgoing calls were blocked with a voice message conveying that the phone account balance is zero and the calls cannot be forwarded. We approached the Same Airtel office for sorting out the issue. We were surprised again when one of the staff told us that as per the scheme our talk time should not exceed 140 minutes per day. This was never disclosed to us by the staff concerned. We have never exceeded the limit not even for a single day after we have opted for the scheme. The same can be verified from the call data. This is cheating the customer and indulging in the breach of trust and violation of customer previlege. My husband is a kidney transplant patient and cannot go to the Air tel office to follow up. Hence I am lodging this complaint. Kindly intervene and do justice.
