Marketing Ex ecutive

I have ported my number (9645502999) to Airtel postpaid on July 5, 2012. My permanent address falls in Calicut (Kozhikode) district, which is a non-serviceable location according to Airtel. I was never informed about the same by Airtel when I put in my request for MNP. My MNP was submitted at the Alwaye Airtel office. I got a notification message that my outgoing call facility will be barred if I am not providing alternate address. Since July 20, 2012 I have been calling and speaking to different authorities of Airtel, but went in vain because every time Airtel comes up with some or the other different excuses. They asked me to come all the way to Kozhikode to resolve the matter. Taking off from my work, I had been to Kozhikode office, but nothing happened apart from meeting with 2 executives there.

I have been facing severe inconvenience as I am unable to cancel this number and get a fresh one, because all my contacts have been provided this number.

AIRTEL, please do the needful to have my outgoing facility restored at the earliest. If the issue is not resolved in 24 hours, this will come to light through leading dailies as well.
