lost INR 15k after Verma Kennel took advance payment and never delivered the required pet

Dear Sir,

I am from Mumbai.

I had requested for a Dalmatian pup in co-ordination with Mr. .Naresh (Verma Kennel), he had promised the delivery of the pup on the 2nd of August, the same day of the payment, he did not inform that it cannot happen the same day for whatever the reason was.

This pup was requested for birthday occasion for my sister.

I had clearly mentioned that I would require the pup the same day and not later, which I was very much promised by Mr.Naresh, the same reason for which I can booked via Verma kennel, because of the commitment being maintained.

He had told me that the pup will be delivered the same evening, but at 5:30pm when i give him a call for follow up, i am told it is not possible, it doesn’t make sense for me to go ahead with the order, also he still cannot give a committed time for the next schedule of the pup being delivered. in fact he told my husband that it will be delivered 2 days later!!! I was given multitudes of reason for the failure, all i am asking is that if the delivery was not sure why did he promise again and again, just to keep the money and crack a deal!!!

For the same reason I had asked him to cancel my request and to refund my amount.

He has been disconnecting /avoiding my calls after that, as he had also promised that he would refund the amount the next day by 10:30am.

Still there is no communication from their side.

Request you to please help us in that matter…it’s pretty clear that the commitment is not being kept, but at least I expect that they have the ethics to return the money if the delivery has not been made and cancelled.

I have the series of mails exchanged also for the same in case you need it.

    its your mistake that you put money in such silly people account who are not able to speak to clients properly but majority of pple look for less price and top quality dog. so without getting into the detail you deposit money.

    BEWARE OF SUCH PEOPLE. IF ANY CASE YOU GET JACKED WITH SUCH PEOPLE THEN I REQUEST, NOT TO SIT AT HOME AND CRY.
    FILE A LEGAL COMPLAINT AND DO THE CONCERN ACTION. NOTHING GONNA WORK OUT BY SITTING AT HOME. ITS YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

    hi, i too was victim of their fraud . they gave me apuupy which was not a basset hound, took the money and vansihed . till date no news ( 2 months) i was to get certificate from them for my puppy but they now dont take calls … can we please file a fraud case against them . i have rahul verma number – 8873244431.regards

    I just contacted Poddar Kennel guys yesterday asking for a Cairn Terrier breed and they charged me 1 lakh for getting imported breed from God knows which country.

    Their explanation for the 1 lakh cost and no transportation charges which they claim, is that they need 10 pairs and I get just one pup for the cost of 1 lakh.

    Below is his email,”Dear Sir / Madam

    Thank you so much for the response.

    Please find attached herewith the recent photographs of the pups.

    They are of 2 months of age. Primary vaccinations and deworming schedule completed and are in perfect health. They belong from imported and champion line up.

    The price of the pups: – 100000/-(Direct import)
    We ship puppies to all over India. We don’t charge extra for transportation.
    in this price i need 10 pairs, u cant get in 550$. u just spaek with them and tell i am india how u will ship. specially mention cargo is not allowed in india, perso ca carry 2 dogs in one go.
    and how can a person brings at 25000 from thailand when the ticket of a person is 25000/- to and fro.
    we are frequent traveller so i can tell u the exact things. we have sister concern is thailand. “

    hi i deposited 33000 rupees for a bulldog puppy as a gift for my sister from singh kennle tht guy sent me a street dog all the way from delhi by flight i am trying my best to track him down any help will be appreciated !!

    I too got cheated by Verma kennels. such disgusting people should be though a lesson. i have all the proofs against them ,including 3 phone conversation recorded. Can someone guide me or help me please.

    HI I had ordered a great dane pup from Goswami Kennels ,Guwahati for Rs 23000 which i had put in their account .Though I did get the required breed but it was very week .The 52 days old puppy which was sent to me by courier was told to be vaccinated against the parvo and distemper virus.But unfortunately the puppy died after 10 days of coming to our home The reason was distemper which was in fact quite shocking to me since the dog was vaccinated as i was told by the owner Mr.NOBO GOSWAMI .Anyhow its not the money that is my concern I just wish to make these crazy kennel owners be more responsible and brought to the book so that they don’t do such malicious acts with the puppies making them susceptible to such epidemic .Had he simply told me the dog wasn’t vaccinated i would have got it done myself,Had he done the vaccination at the proper time the puppy would have survived,had he sent me the puppy after the right time it would have been probably alive.
    Kindly guide me for legal remedies if any .
