I have bought a LG 42LW5700 TV(CINEMA 3D TV) on 6th May’12.
The purpose of buying this TV was to use the smart features of the TV, like skype video chat etc. using the webcam/wifi dongle for skype video chat features, which was informed to the sales executive at the shop. Based on my requirement, they suggested- LG 42LW5700 TV.
From the time I have bought the TV in last 2 months, I have been calling LG service centers, LG call center, LG shope- all over Bangalore, but still now I m not able to get the LG webcam & internet Wifi dongle. I have made to call one number to other, one shop to other center. But no HW stock in the city, not sure if at all this items are available in India or not. No body has a proper answer, information of the product.
Without this webcam, I dont have the requirement of this model. I m frustrated with response & service I m getting. I dont know if I have done the right choice to go with LG.
The TV was sold to me with false information it seems. I have been cheated & am frustrated for going with LG TV. With such a delay for the webcam & wifi dongle delivery for my LG 42LW5700 TV, it seems that actually the TV do not support smart webcam feature.
I want a immediate delivery of the items else want the TV to be taken back with return of the full money so that i can go for a different brand.
Also I want the escallarion matrix for the LG TV services. It seems there is no escallation matrix at all, and the customer support is left with very less technical/product knowledge people. They are not able to share any escallation matrix also.
