I had been to Kalmane Koffees on the Sunday, 22nd July by around 6:30-7:00 pm. I ordered a cold coffee, with whipped cream on it. They served me the coffee with ice cream instead. When I went and asked him to change it, he said, they do not have whipped cream, and asked me to cancel my order. I too agreed, and waited there for couple of minutes, while he was talking to other customers and answering their orders, and completely ignored me.When I asked him to first finish my order, he threw the money,(75Rs)and asked me to go away. When I asked him how much it costs, he replied by saying rudely “as much as he gave me”. Apparently, I asked him to show the receipt, which he had take away when giving the delivery, he was angry with me, and started abusing me using foul language, and bad mouthed me. there were two guys at the counter, when the other guy also came to speak, and both started being verbally abusive, and also tried to physically assault me. finally, he asked me to get out. I went to the mall management staff, and they summoned the guy to apologize to me. But I need an action to be taken against the man, who was ready to even hit me. This is physical assault, and outraging the modesty of a woman. I was left in tears and completely ashamed by the way the staff are trained in a hospitality industry. the reason given to me by the manager of Kalmane koffee, meenakshi mall was that the guy at the counter was new.
