This is to complain about the careless and harassing service provided by the Indiatimes Shopping website (shopping.indiatimes.com). I ordered two items of clothing on the 10th of July and while one item was delivered fine on the 16th of July, the other was a wrong product for which I complained the same day and raised a request for replacement with the actual product ordered. It took more than ten days for them to have the wrong product picked up and the replacement order generated finally on the 29th of July, and they promised that since the product was in stock they will have it delivered to me by the 5th of August. Again, even after more than a week, I called them time and again to ask for the reason for the delay of not even shipping the product, and I got nothing but vague promises of shipping it the next day, all because they weren’t even bothered about delivering the product since they had already received the money. And yet again, when I canceled the order on the 12th of July on being told that they could not promise me a final date to expect the product, I was told my refund will be initiated immediately, but it wasn’t even initiated by them till today, i.e. 16th of July. I am finally resorting to complaining on the consumer forum after over a month of harassment from this deceptive and highly irresponsible shopping site.
