Irresponsible Service of Standard Chartered Credit Card Division

I hope to reach to the right people authorized to take appropriate action on this concern.
I was offered a life time free credit card by Standard Chartered Bank in the month of November 2012. I was happy to receive this service from Standard Chartered initially but my happiness was short lived.
Little did I know that I made the biggest mistake of my life by using the Standard Chartered credit card to purchase some flight tickets in the month of February 2013. My ordeal with the pathetic customer service of this bank had just begun.
The Credit Card Bill never reached me because the Credit Card department had been careless enough to enter incorrect e-mail address and mailing address.
When I called the bank to know about the whereabouts of my bill statement, I found out that the due date is already passed. And the bank has levied Interest and Late Payment charges in addition to the genuine transactions I had made. I explained to them that I had never received the Credit Card bill statement as they had my contact details wrongly mentioned.
The customer care representative that handled my call promised to reverse the additional charges levied due to the carelessness of the bank.
However, he had still not reversed the Interest charged due to late payment.

Why should I pay for the incorrectly entered details by the Standard Chartered employee?

I was very disturbed by my next statement that still included the interest and the late payment charges again levied because of the interest that would not have occurred, had I received the initial bill on time.

I took out 1 hour of time from my busy schedule again and prepared myself mentally to deal with the rude, obstinate and adamant customer care of Standard Chartered Bank. This time again they committed to reverse the charges but again I am expected to pay the interest charges that were incurred due to the incorrect contact details issue.

I fail to understand that why are the bank policies designed to harass the customer. And the Customer Care designed to push the customer to the to the point where I had to take this step of registering a complaint.
Standard Chartered bank is the worst in the credit card department. I have been using the Credit Cards from various banks for the last 7 years and have never faced such incompetence on the bank’s part.
