irrelevant deduction of money from refund amount

Location/place: India

Name of company/service: makemytrip.com

I made a booking from Chandigarh to Pune with the ticket price of 4600 rs using a ecoupon of 500 Rs, paying Rs 4100 approx after the discount.
I had to cancel the booking and thus asked for the refund from the company. I was promised a refund of 2100 rs and also received a mail and message conforming it. but later a refund of 1497 was initiated. When i tried clearing it with the Customer Care they said the 500 rs were the ecoupon amount. But they fail to understand the simple maths that if they are deducting the ecoupon amount they should deduct the charges from 4600 and not 4100. It is a simple thing that deducting 500 from 4100 they are deducting 500 Rs which has already been subtracted from 4600. why should i pay it twice? Now the customer care people don’t attend my calls and they dont even connect my call to their supervisors. and every time they call they give reasons for not doing it there and then.
