IRCTC E-wallet, a Fraudster scheme of IRCTC

I being an Indian citizen have an account with IRCTC to book the ticket. I mostly travel so prefer IRCTC to book the ticket. In order to book the Tatkal ticket faster, and to avoid any payment delay, I created an account in IRCTC E-Wallet. First of all, they charged INR 50 to create a wallet with them. I Proceeded and added INR 1300 as my ticket was closer to this amount. In the middle of getting my booking confirmed their site went down and my payment was deducted. It took them almost two months to refund this amount. I do not know whether they had to get this amount back from Swiss bank or so. THEY DO NOT HAVE REFUND OPTION SO once the amount is added to the wallet can only be used while booking a ticket. Their customer service sucks. They even do not know what is customer service and how to talk to a customer. Today I tried booking a ticket. My total amount says INR 530 and my wallet shows total available balance INR 540 still I could not book the ticket. Later on, I came to know that they cost INR 10 per booking +GST apart from the actual fare. I had to add INR 100 to the wallet to use my wallet amount as they have set up that you cannot add less than INR 100 in the wallet. SO IF A PASSENGER HAS TO BOOK A TICKET OF INR 50 HE NEEDS TO PAY 60 EXTRA TO IRCTC TO BOOK THIS TICKET.

I want the authority to look into this and make people aware that do not use IRCTC E-wallet at all. It’s a fraud scheme by IRCTC
