I had applied for 2 wheeler insurance via an insurance agent with the company and the policy was issued to me on the 28th August 2009 with the insurance date of 11th september 2009.My bike was stolen on 30th august 2009,the company has denied the insurance claim on the grounds that the cheque for premium payment had cleared from the bank after the date of incident.The complaint i have is if the insurance policy start date is 28th august 2009 time:10am why is my claim not covered and is there any procedure to dispute the decision in the court of law?
