Subject: A totally spoilt image of Toyota is created by a series of horrible experience from Infinium Toyota Ahmedabad – Dealer, Insurance agents and staff.
Full Story and multiple issues with almost fraudulent approach to customer:
Harassment since last 2 years in such a way that I will never go for a Toyota again or if yes not from this dealer at least.
July 2008 When Altis was launched, a sales person from Infinium approached me & I was offered a Toyota H5 registered GJ 1 HQ 7048 at Rs 9,50,000 – discounted rates for 2006 models stock clearance.
I booked and got a Toyota H5 black. This car had too much wear & tears & started number of problems and that was probably an Odometer manipulation in a test drive vehicle manufactured of 2006 but sold as fresh piece to me.
I gave this car to company back for scrutiny in October/November 2008 and filed a complained to Toyota Global & India. From head office I got phone calls & I was given a favor & dealer got ready to replace vehicle.
In December 2008 dealer replaced me H2 instead of H5 – still I tolerated thinking that I am getting a new unused vehicle now. I would have objected for getting H2 instead of H5 but I tolerated as he showed assurance for clearing all problems.
But height of company insurance agents & RTO registration policy that – I was given the same number GJ 1 HQ 7048 for red H2 car… It is practically not possible that a same RTO number for 2 different models.
In July 2009 the insurance agents from Infinium Toyota Mr Hardik Joshi & Maulik came and took cheque of approximate 22000 Rs for full comprehensive insurance premium but by a big mistake of agents & due to their criminal negligence they insured the old vehicle H5 which was given back to dealer. I don’t know why they did forget to insure H2 Red car.
It means from delivery December 2008 to till today this replaced H2 Red corolla has remained uninsured because of Insurance agent’s mistakes & negligence.
And car which I did not own was insured from my money.
To my good luck I did not have any accident which endangered third party during this period.
After 1 year’s constant request & frankly saying a customer dealer fight for my rights, I got my car registered in 2010 January and the number is GJ 1 KC 1290. This was also favored by Toyota Bangalore after a number of complains in Toyota Global & Toyota India.
But again in RC book it is written Corolla Altis H2 which is contradictory to actual car Corolla H2.
It simply means 2007 manufacturing car sold in 2008 December and registered in January 2010. And still it remained uninsured despite my paying 22000 Rs as comprehensive premium.
I have never got a simple support from company in correct way. All time I have faced problems.

Serious Issue: Now yesterday I got an accident in back of my car – boot is damaged with rear bumper – I asked in Mumbai Toyota repair workshops but they can not touch car without a proper insurance policy with correct Engine & Chasis Numbers.
So I myself sacrificed my 3 days medical practice & came here in Ahmedabad to Infinium Toyota with a hope that they will solve problems.
Now everyone in Infinium – Dealer & Insurance agents are busy and can’t solve this mistake. So I can not get my car repaired as it is uninsured because of insurance agents’ mistakes.
My car I took to put in workshop for garage but I was sent home back as they can not accept my vehicle. I am helpless now.
They have refused to take my vehicle for repair also as Insurance company will not pay for their mistakes & all cost they will have to bear.
My question is why shall a customer suffer like this???
Did I buy this Toyota to enjoy or to raise my blood pressure by this fraudulent approach and lack of support at every stage in every problem by being helpless & praying to GOD for a relief of this numbers of headaches???
It seems like a nightmare and I don’t trust Toyota for its dealership though the brand may be good service back up & transparency is a question. Can not even mention for VALUE for MONEY with this bad experiences…
I want a justice now as I am fed up & this situation may make me ill by so many negative experiences from a same company in a single purchase. I trust Toyota being a Japan Company and I never expected this from Toyota.
If company can not solve problems take this vehicle back & refund me every money I paid. If someone else was there he might have sued company & dealer. I am a decent and cool minded person & like to respect your company and want a easy solution for life time.
