Are you being charged for some “download charges” in your bill for which you have no idea?
Is your telecom operator not telling you clearly what these charges are?
Is the operator not replying to your emails on this issue?
Is the operator threatening you for stopping the services if you don’t pay this amount?
Well let me tell you I have faced this all.
I got a corporate connection from vodafone last year. (No. 8334944222)
Even after constantly following it up with vodafone for months.. Only explaination I have got from them is: “You might have pressed a link by mistake”
After reading some of the posts and comments of other people in this forum, my take is that we are asking the wrong questions from the telecom companies.
What we need to ask them is this:
1) How can the amount be charged from your acc without asking for your approval (not even an sms)
2) Why is the name of these services not reflecting in the itemised bill?
3) Even after asking to stop all Value added services (VAS) permanently.. why are we charged every month.
4) Why doesn’t vodafone display the name of these services on their website for which we can be charged without our permission.
5) Why is vodafone not communicating anything on the mail.
P.S. – My services have been stopped by vodafone today because I refuse to pay for this illegally charged “VAS download charges”. Even though I have been paying the rest of the amount (including taxes) every month.
Can someone also suggest me the next step of action since vodafone has also stopped responding to my mails. Vodafone is also not responding to my questions on call.
