I m using a MTS prepaid data card with no 8645995229 for last one year and in these months i have referred my friends in my apartment and also have suggested them to take MTS data card as the speed is good in my area.
One month back we got an offer through an agency that MTS pospaid Wifi data card is free and provided i paid an advance rental of one month for Rs 999 plan. I paid Rs 1000 the agency through Mr saravanan 7845339702,9944356888 and Rafi 8438423210. The card was not activated even after few days. When i checked customer care i came to know that i was cheated in two ways
1) there is no plan like this advance rental and the Rs 1000 is only for data card. When i called Saravana he confirmed it and offered to refund the money. But he never came back.
2) When i raised this issue with MTS they gave one more surprise that there is an outstanding of Rs.695 of some postpaid account 8645903952 which is linked to my name. This problem i was aware some months back where i used to get call for bill for my neighbour Sashanks account whom i also suggested to take MTS but not sure how my mobile no is linked to his account. I have told many times to remove my number when ever i get call for bill for his account. But this issue MTS is pouring on me when i wanted to take postpaid of my own, Mr sashank has left my apartment and has settled in Mumbai now. But why should i be suffering as he has not paid bill.
My concern is i paid Rs 1000 for data card. Data card is still not activated. I wanted refund but now they are asking me to pay for some ones account to get my refund.
MTS is doing very silly blunders like this and thier customer service is also bad. Please help me in this.
