illegal service charges levied on reapir

&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Location/place&lt;/b&gt;: Nagpur&lt;/p&gt;<p><b>Name of company/service</b>: Samsung</p>A relative bought us a Samsumg lcd tv from bangkok 3 yrs ago. As price difference was very high compared to India, we tool it as good deal.
It was a genuine lcd with all billing and warranty docs available.
Now its pcb is damaged due to short circuit, so we asked comp to repair it. The charges they say are Rs 3000+5000 for kit n service respectively. The usual service charge is approx1000rs. But since ours is a foreign lcd,they ask illegal service charge. Please help and look into matter as this way is not right. They also deny to give pcb if we can actually ask a local technician to fit it.
