I purchased this mobile that was listed under lightening deals (Order # 171-5867810-8733132). They have sent an old stock of this product more than an year old and came as dead. After checking the warranty status online with IMEI number, I came to know the warranty expires with 2 months and also was registered under different customer name.
For the past days I was not able to use the phone since the HTC support asked me to wait for the reply. But these unethical group never replied back but asked me to use the device with further extension warranty through chat in the beginning.
This looks like a professional scam carried out by HTC and Amazon to sell the used stocks under a looting deal like lightening deal. Don’t fall into this trap, even they don’t allow me to write a negative review for this product to alert people.
These unethical group will play a game like If you go to Amazon for this issue they will ask to go to HTC support center, If you go to HTC they will ask to visit Amazon. Great fraud by these scammers to push the old n useless stocks into customers heads.
Again please don’t fall into this trap and never buy HTC mobiles on Amazon and feel like cheated later. These people will eat anything for your money.
