Hitachi knew within the warranty that the remote is not working…. they changed the remote in my absence and now when we tried to use it for the first time in the season… it’s not working…
So either the wall mount unit in the AC unit is bad and the remote is fine or they gave another faulty remote unit. They were not able to diagnose properly what was wrong – in my opinion.
They should come and fix the problem without any charge. As the problem was reported in the warranty period and not resolved to my satisfaction.
Warranty expired in April 2013 and they replaced the remote in JAN/FEB 2013.
I have emails from Mr. Mohib to confirm that the problem was there in the warranty period and that they will attend to the problem. Subsequently several other people started calling from Hitachi and demanded money for the replacement, then for a visit.
Which I denied and no one came… SHAME SHAME SHAME on HITACHI
Hitachi is a BAD COMAPNY that brings SHAME to the MADE IN JAPAN label …
THEY ARE CHEAP CROOKS and should be thrown out of the country… MILD expression – should be KICKED OUT.
We have enough Indian companies that service their products and stand by their products – if they are faulty and they would even replace it.
Where is a consumer court in Delhi? and is there any on line place where I can lodge a complaint? Just help me out…
