High charges due to incorrect and incomplete information

I would like to register a complain for vodafone

I am a loyal vodafone customer for I can’t remember how many years …and hate the run around I am getting for the last 2 months …I have a postpaid connection and I had the vodafone family and friends scheme activated (I got my fiance no activated) had dis no activated as a free no for 3 yrs no issues at all .

I called vodafone customer service on the 20th of august 2014 for an internet query …and I hav no clue but also enquired about my free no as I wanted to know if only calls to that no is free or also sms …I was told by the advisor that there is no free no activated on my account …I kept telling him that it has been free for the last 3 years …I asked him to check my bills for the last 6 months to prove my point ….he apologized and tild me it was a server problem and would get it activated and I want hav any more problems …assuming evrything was sorted as assured by vodafone I didn’t bother and continued with my usage at the end of my billing cycle I called the contact center center again to reduce my data plan from 4g to 2gb and enquired about my free no .. I was surprised to know that the entire month the no was not activated as per the scheme as it was a maharastra no and not a local no …I was so frustrated as the entire billing cycle I was not aware that I am getting charged for dis no ….u spoke to a supervisor and the experience just worsen his name was shakeel …he only kept telling me that the no cannot be activated as it was a roamin no …no alternative provided …I stil wasnt clear how was it activated for the last 3 years and not now where as there was no changes in the no it has always bin a roamin no . ..no clear explanation and no customer management skills watsoevr (I confidentely say dis coz I haved wrked for vodafone Australia an m a process trainer)…no resolution received

Bottom line is I am stil left wid a bill of 2181 for incorrect information and incomplete information and all that I hear is I am sorry

I stil happened to call them to check if any options or change of plan to mayb a red plan can get me a discount for the roamin no as I knw my bill wil continue to be high ….I was told by the advisor sudip that I can activate a 49 rs local no plan so that my fiance no can be free wenevr he is in mumbai area and I can get the roam like home services to get the no free wen my fiance is in the roamin area … I confirmed this information so many times as I dont trust the information given by them anymore …but he assured me the information is correct and he is confident abt it and the service wil b activated in 24 hours ….I still called again and confirmed with another advisor named kiran …he confirmed the same I also logged a complaint wid him abt my billing ….hoping sumthin wil b done .

Next day I received a cal from juhi from d retention team askin me if I wana cancel my no …I was evn more frustrated I had to explain the entire story again …even though it was a call back and I xpected them to have bin prepared with the case history totally unacceptable …she again told me that the no cannot be activated as its a roamin no …I told her abt d option provided by advisor sudip …she agreed to it and told me that the sla is 48hrs n not 24 (incorrect info by sudip again)…I asked her y dis option of 49 plan n roamin was not given by the supervisor as it wud save me from dis months bill…she mentioned the supervisors are not allowed to promote offers which was surprising. ..she promised a call back as she had not gone thru my bills in short not prepared. ..I missed a call from a no but not sure if its them post that no calls at all (I wonder wats their call back policy as I had 2 calls back to back )

I got a call again from them today stating now that again the 49 plan and d roaming service cannot be activated as its not a mumbai …so end of day no resolution…no explanation …I guess they themselves require sum standardisation of information and customer service skills

I am not sure wat can be done but hoping for sum help or option
