My wife was admitted in hospital for treatment and I did not avail cashless facility. Later after treatment I had submitted the original prescriptions and bills to the star allied office in indiranagar branch Bangalore for approval on march 14th. But to my rude shock I came to know that they have lost all the documents and did not bother to inform me regarding the status of my claim since then. I came to know of this only when I went to enquire in their head office in chennai and in Bangalore. My policy is two year old and it is only today that I have received my policy copy and cards after repeated mails. I feel that the insurance company is very prompt in only collecting money from customers in the name of health insurance but when it comes in terms of repaying money in terms of claims they literally take the consumer for as ride by not settling the claims citing simple reasons or by misplacing the documents. Being a doctor myself when I am going through this harrowing experience I really don’t understand how common people can manage
