Dear Sir/Madam,
This is to inform you that I had invested in HDFC SL CLASSIC ASSURANCE
plan (policy no 15420459) based on the word of your agents Mr. Rajib
(mob no 7278030376) and his colleague Mr Soumya (mob 9748400178).
They had mentioned an investment of Rs 30,000 can be withdrawn after
an year with 12% interest p.a.. Along with that, they insisted I paid
the same amount on that day itself to avail an additional benefit of a
“Gold Coin”.
I was out of station during the arrival of policy documents and was
too occupied with two major surgical operations of my mother due to
which I was unable to contact the HDFC SLIF within 30 days of receiving the documents.
Nonetheless, I had contacted the agents repeatedly to clarify the
points of difference between what they had said and what was mentioned
in the actual document. They repeatedly stuck to what they had
previously said.
I am not agreeable to the policy terms and conditions. So I would like to cancel the policy and get full refund at the earliest.
