I took loan from HDFC ltd. in 2008 . At that point of time they charged the interest which was linked to RPLR minus 2.75 percent discount . Over a period of time due to change in interest rate , they changed the RPLR and also the discount . However , for me they kept the discount constant for me that is 2.75 percent . And to my surprise they changed the discount to 6 percent , without any communication . Had they have communicated , I would have changed my plan and would have paid interest @ 10.25 percent to 11 percent . They have been charging me @ 13.75 percent , which is ridiculous . I have paid huge interest of more than 10 lakhs in last 5 years . I want HDFC to pay me the extra interest which they charged from me from retrospective effect . I am sure there will be lots of customer in this category . I can not expect this from HDFC !!!!!
