Name of company/service: HDFC Bank credit cards
This is to report that my HDFC Bank Credit Card (no 4617 8620 0100 1262) was used without my authorization on the 29th of March 2013 ( at 22:43:42 hrs) for Rs 8639.25 in MILTON KEYNES at DOMINOS PIZZA GROUP (M/s www.dominos.co.uk ).
The credit card is in my physical possession, but it was used online. I also declare that I have never shared my password or any credit cards details with my friends/ relatives / acquaintances. Infact, I am very particular on all these things. The last online authorized transaction that I did with this card was on 27th of March 2013 on www.jetairways.com for Rs 1143.00 for buying a Jet Privilege reward ticket.
I read the transaction message for this unauthorized transaction on my mobile (9930436127) on 30th of March 2013 in the morning and I immediately called up HDFC Bank customer care to report this unauthorized usage and requested them to block my card, which they did. I was also told by the customer care executive, that the payment has not yet been processed (merchant had not presented it to the bank till then), so I requested them not to process it under any condition. But to my surprise, the HDFC bank has still processed the amount. I have sent a dispute form to HDFC bank but the matter is not resolved as the bank is asking me to pay the money. Since I have not done this transaction, I will not pay this money. I have paid Rs 1143.00 for the earlier transaction and have requested the HDFC bank to cancel the new credit card that they issued in place of the earlier one.
HDFC bank is still maintaining that i have to pay this amount.
Request your help in investigating this matter and help me. There were two more transaction attempts on the 6th of april at two merchants.
