HDD Problem

Hi,

My western digital hard drive is not working properly. I have complaint many time regarding my hard drive to wd customer care. But whenever i call them they have new excuse. I am requesting them to replace my hard drive for 20 days. But they are not doing anything.

    I am sorry to hear about it. Based on your post, I’d like to know if you are using an internal or external HDD? Does it show up in the Disk Management? Is there any error message? If possible, please provide a snapshot and the specific error message.

    I bought a my passport from retailers shop. i used it for 8 months after suddenly its dead. i went for warranty to same retailer but he said i have to contact with wd. i tried so many call on you number(1800-200 5789 or 1800-419 5591). No one help me
    please suggest me how i can claim warranty.

    I am sorry to hear about it. I’d like to check with you, after connected the WD My Passport HDD, is the LED light blinking? Do you feel any vibration from the HDD? Is there any error message, when you are accessing the device? Could you give me some more details about that? If possible, please provide a snapshot and the specific error message.

    For the meantime, you may try to run DLG, to check if there is any issue with HDD.
