it is to inform you that i, amit kumar am working with Indian Army and on getting posted from pune to dimapur i was to transport my household goods from pune to dimapur.one small time transporter named ms Kibami(mob.09862147695) offered me a vehicle regn no. UP-78 CN-4718, driven by mr.Mukesh at pune.on asking for the charges she didnot disclose anything saying that she will adjust it mutually.no other terms and conditions were disclosed to me.on 16 Aug 12(2300h) the vehicle reported to me, got loaded and was ready to move by 1100h on 19 Aug 12, i asked for the challan(papers)to be prepared by the driver ,which was refused by ms kibami instead i was asked to pay Rs.65000/- which is 80% of the total amount of
Rs 80000/-which is higher then the amount generally charged for a small truck of this kind.i requested her to reduce the advance to 50% which she refused flatly,the driver even refused to sign a receipt for the advance amount being paid by me.while these discussions were on the truck was already loaded,on request for receipt and challans(papers for household goods) ms KIbami got furious ,and told the driver to unload the truck which was done on 20 Aug 12.during this process i amit kumar lost lot of time and got multiple damaged to my household goods.the lady also threatened of the dire consequences to me if i take up the issue.ms Kibami also refused to divulge any information about her transport company and the address also.only information about her which i could gather is that she has her offices at Imphal(manipur) and Dimapur(Nagaland) from where she runs her business and her mobile no is -09862147695.May i please request you to kindly instruct/advise her to refrain from involving into such illegal activities, harassing and also threatening to the clients(consumers).i may please be informed of the outcome on this mobile no. 09402871777 and on the e-mail id – [email protected] you very much.
