Harassment from Apollo Munich health Insurance company, not settling Claim Amounts

Name of company/service: Apollo Munich health Insurance company

IRDA Complaint No. 11-11-022549 received dated 21-Nov-2011. & ( Our Ref. No. AMH/IRDA/2011-12/131 )

As per requirements of Apollo Munich health Insurance company, my consulting doctor already send
five times the supporting letter to Apollo team regarding my Treatment in Apollo Hospital at Sarita Vihar. Now, he denies to write
more letters as he writes the same response again and again.

If they want any more investigation, then they can contact Apollo
Hospital.At the time of buying the policy,i am totally fit and totally
unaware that such kind of complications created from Apollo Munich health Insurance company in such
huge way.
please, it is enough ,that every time they are raising unwanted
queries again and again,please take a concrete action for the same. If
any one is on the bed and Apollo Munich Health Insurance Company Limited are arising unwanted queries ,it
is very shame full that they are increasing the complexities to the
patient to a great extend.

I also make a request ti IRDA Authority, that please look into the
matter, as it is a problem of every policy holder.

I totally agree with Nikhil Kumar, that Apollomunich Health Insurance company is a big cheater and a serious action needs to be taken against this company so that no more policy can be sold in the market.

Apollomunich will first raise some non-sense query and will keep your claim pending for long time. And after that with no proper justification, without any acceptable reason they will reject your claim. Also they will behave like dumb when you reply to their query as they just dont want to listen to you, because if they will listen to you then they will have to pay you the money. So in short APOLLOMUNICH Health Insurance Company is a BIG CHEATER COMPANY.

I also agree with Mr Joshi and Mr Nikhil. Please take serious action . They are the fraud and playing with people’s life. I am also the witness of their harassment.

Agreed. Our claim is pending. Asking for all documents without specifying what document is required since all documents are submitted.

Reimbursement process is worst with Appolo Munich, my claim id is 639150 and they are asking unnecessary document which is not relevant to my claim. They don’t treat customize process case to case. They don’t have any knowledge of medical cases.

IRDA needs to discipline Apollo Munich. I have also faced severe problem. Apollo Munich team is trained not to listen and acknowledge what the patient or doctor has said or submitted as documents. On the other hand they keep raising unrelated and irrelevant queries to keep the approval / claim pending or use it as an excuse for rejecting the same. The are subjecting customers to mental harassment and agony.

sir mai kuldeep patodi from kota rajasthan se hu. dear sir meri wife teena jain ko fiver problam ke liye hospital mai admit karvaya tha. lakin hame claim nahi diya ja raha hai. wife ko GLUTIEN SENSITIVITY name ki koi bimari hi nahi hai . or na hi ham ne koi is ka ilaj karvaya hai . wife ko fiver tha. or isi ka tritment metri hospital kota mai admit ho kar vaya hai. is se relit ham ne sare peper aap ko bej b diye. fir b aap us bimari ke peper man rahe hai jo hai hi nahi. or nahi doctor ne GLUTIEN SENSITIVITY ka koi ilaj kiya hai. please hamara claim pass kare. thanks mob no 09828048864 policy no.
