I am a Vodafone postpaid customer (+91 9768053772) and have been constantly harassed by the Vodafone people for more than 3 months now.
On 3rd July some agent from Vodafone changed my plan in error and I started having the trouble.
I called their customer service and complaints department and after about 15 calls to them on 11th of July my issue was resolved and I was able to use my services again. At that time I was advised by the supervisor who resolved my issue to call after my bill was generated to get the bill rectified as it would show charges for the wrong plan. The name of the supervisor was Ayaz.
When my bill was generated it was for more than Rs. 3500. Usually my bill is about Rs. 1200.
I called the customer service and was told to pay the amount and that it would be adjusted in the next bill.
I did not pay the amount as it was 3 times my usual bill and I had lost faith in the company.
That month passed and next month I received a bill for Rs. 7000+.
I called again and was made to run from one person to another.
After repeated calls and emails I was promised that this issue would be taken care of.
During this time I kept getting calls to pay the amount of Rs. 7000+ with a promise that all of this would be adjusted in subsequent bills.
I flatly refused to oblige to their conditions and in September my fone was disconnected by Vodafone.
Ever since I have been writing to them to get the issue resolved explaining everything to everyone.
However no body is willing to look into the issue and resolve it.
Now I have received a notice from them to make the payment.
I have at least 5 complaint numbers for the issue. They are:118349428, 123681796, 116707127, 116400888, 115995885.
Please advise as this is a clear case of strong arming the customer by harrasing them for no fault of theirs.
