Dear Sir/Madam,
Here is my experience of the trip of Agar, Mathura and Vrindavan.
Recently, I had a day trip to these places from Delhi. We had a plan to visit multiple temples so we booked a tempo traveller with http://www.tajtripcar.com/ and told them to send the driver at 6 AM. Here are the problem I faced after booking from them.
During trip –
1. We could board the bus at 7:15 AM and travelled through Yamuna Express Way for quick journey. However, the driver was driving the bus at the speed of 50 to 60 km/hour. When we said to driver faster, he said “I have responsibility of 12 people and so can’t travel faster. You can drive fast your vehicle but can’t insist for mine.”.
2. We said that lets move Vrindavan first, then Mathura and Agra but he insisted to go to Agra first. He also said that otherwise, we would be missing multiple places based on his experience. So, we said Ok. Finally, he left us near Taj, Agra at 1:45 PM. (Took 6:30 hours to reach to Taj from my home near UP border, Delhi).
3. At 3:45 PM, we again caught the vehicle. He insisted to go to some shopping places and but only became silent when we straight away said to move to Mathura.
4. Again he was moving slow and we requested that this way, we would be losing visits to multiple temples but he said that he will manage.
5. In Mathura, at 7:35 PM, he left us near to a under construction flyover where there were multiple railway tracks. He told us to move out from the bus and travel 500 meter, cross the track and then we would find a rickshaws to reach the Krishna Janambhumi. We did the same but we did not find any Ricksaw over there and so moved to the temple on foot. We were 4 Gents, 7 ladies and 4 children less than 5 years old including a child of 1 month old. I don’t know how this driver suggested this way. On reaching temple, we called to the manager of Taj Trip Car and explained the situation and requested to talk to the driver and switched off phone when moving inside the temple.
6. After returning back with same dangerous way where trains were moving on track in dark with family members, we reached to the vehicle and found the cab was locked. Called to the driver number, it was switched off. Called to the Manager but he was not picking phone. Talked to nearby people but nobody knows where the driver went. After some time, we saw that he is lying at the very back seat of the vehicle and sleeping. We knocked heavily and then we woke up but did not accept that his phone was switched off.
7. As we wanted to do Darshan of Banke Bihari in Vrindavan for sure, we requested to move straight away there. We moved at 8:30 PM and reached 9:20 PM when there was no traffic. Hardly, only some of our family members could do Darshan as it was closing at 9:30 PM.
8. Now, back to Cab at 9:50 PM, we requested to stop the vehicle at the restaurant which is nearby in Vridanvan only. But he did not stop multiple restaurant we requested.
9. The driver “Baldev” was arrogant all the time. As he was talking in a rude manner and looking like as he will fight if we will say anything.
10. He was stopping as he wishes. Example, we stopped at one of the restaurant on Yamuna Expressway and did not want to stop further but he stopped at one more restaurant at Yamuna Expressway. He also met to one of his friend and spent much time with him as well. He also went to the Petha shop to purchase for his own when the instruction was to move faster to Mathura. Interestingly, he did not stop to the restaurants in Vrindavan where we wanted to take our dinner at 10 PM but stopped to another bad highway restaurant at 12 PM where we refused to take dinner and finally could take dinner at night 1 AM at another place.
11. At the end, we could reach near to home at 3:45 AM.
I had huge family with me with small kids. So, I paid what he said as he was in mood to fight. His charges also got changed. He also charged for his two days Driver Charges etc. But money was never importance for me. The things which matters is experience, which I got bad from http://www.tajtripcar.com/
I am sure that I would never be going to travel through this and also will never suggest to any of my office colleagues and friends and would be circulating my experience on social networking sites as well such as Facebook, Linkedin etc.
