Myself Sandipan Chatterjee had used a ICICI bank credit card long back in the year 2005-2006. After that i have never used it. Also i have made a settlement with the bank in 2009. During settlement due to unavoidable circumstances one of my installment failed to pay at right time which was later paid up within few days of the deadline. Also that time I have received call from bank executive that if I pay some late payment fee for the late payment of settlement amount my card will be closed. I have paid that also. After almost 3 years I have received a call from the lawyer in Delhi court that my card is still active and I need to pay the full amount of Rs.44000 ( I have hardly used it for RS.12000 back in 2006-2007). I have already paid more than that amount I don’t know how this Rs.44000 came from also that too after 3 years of closing they are making call and giving threats to produce me in the court in Delhi. I am really embarassed with the situation and they are demanding that i can make a fresh settlement of Rs.18000 else they will file a case against me. please look into this and help me out.
