Harassing for extra payment to issue warranty of the purchased product.

Name of company/service: Multi Computers

Sir/Madam,

My friend purchased an Acer E1-571 Laptop from Multi computers, Hyderabad.

The Invoice No. is 12567. Billing Amount: Rs. 28,650/-. Billing Date: 04/10/2012.

We paid the whole billing amount(Laptop + Extended Warranty + RAM), collected the product along with the Invoice.

The outlet sales person asked us to collect the Extended warranty as he has to enter the details of the laptop online.

But when we go back to collect the Extended Warranty certificate they are asking for extra payment of Rs. 570/- to give us the Extended warranty.

Inspite of paying the full billing amount they are warning us if we wont pay that amount they wont provide the Extended warranty.

Since two days i am trying to get the Extended warranty, i even checked online to see the update in the Acer website, but nothing is updated.

Please help us out in this situation.

We are unable to understand how to confidently use the purchased Acer Laptop without Extended warranty for which we paid the money.
