Dear Sir/Madam,
From last 2 weeks I am getting a call from Mr Rohit Agarwal (+91 8826237456) stating that he is calling from Kotak Mahindra bank Cibil dept Vikaspuri branch. He is calling me regarding my Barclays credit card which was closed and settled in 2011. He states that Kotak Mahindra acquired Barclays and now they are handling all the payments related issues of Barclays. He states that my name is in CIBIL and I have an outstanding payment of around Rs 16,000. I explained him that all the dues were settled and I haven’t got a call from any one from last 4 years. I asked for some more details from him on which he said that he will call me back.
He called me the next day and advised me that he spoke with his senior management and now instead of Rs 16,000 I only have to pay Rs 4,200. I figured out some foul play in this. I told him to send the same in writing on my email address. I haven’t got any reply from him yet.
Kotak Mahindra can you please look into the same and check what exactly is happening here.
