Hi,
I purchased FunBook Pro online dated 14-Aug-2012 from their portal and it got delivered in 10 days. Ever since I opened the box there was display problem and after 2 weeks display has gone completely. I tried several time to contact on 1-8605008286 (impossible number means you will get connected if you are lucky). I use email to contact them and got below response. When I visit service center, they were so many frustrated customers like me and that’s where I got few suggestion to write consumer forum and Pahredaar(CNBC Awwaz).
I gave my tablet to service center on 21-Sep-2012 and they ask me to pay Rs. 3780 than they will replace my LCD, I cant see anything physically damaged but they are saying it is damaged internally and LCD need to be replace. Till today I did not received any call from them as when they will give my tablet back. Today (6-Oct-2012) when I contacted service center they have no idea and showing status as pending. They asked me to contact Micromax and check the status. again after so much difficulty I got connected to customer care and they also have no status about my service request but they log a complaint. Asked me to call back after 7 days to check about complain.What I will do it with complain.
I feel helpless and need help from all if you to do justice to my time and money which I am spending with Micomax. I regret buying this tablet. I strongly feel that Micromax is cheating and making money. this company should be closed immediately for the below reason.
1. Very poor customer Service (after sale).
2. Lack of professionalism.
3. Very poor communication (customer care numbers not easily reachable)
4. Selling defective product without proper testing.They should lunch product before proper testing which is unethical.
5. Asking to pay for service during warranty period ( in my case I should be getting replacement , I just purchased)
Please help in protecting common from these fraud company or advice me the next step.
